Top 10 Beaches in Zanzibar for Relaxing Vacations

If you are planning a relaxing trip to Zanzibar, I would definitely look at Kendwa, Nungwi and Matemwe. 🏝️

I really like Kendwa because the beach is beautiful, the water is clear and it feels more relaxed. Nungwi is also great if you want more restaurants and things to do.

If you want a quieter place, I would choose Matemwe. It is also a good area if you are interested in snorkelling.

One thing I always tell travellers is to check the tide times before choosing a beach. Some beaches on the east coast can look very different when the tide is low.
