MMOEXP The Six-Hour Journey for the Great Staff of the Necrocons

Some quests are completed because they are efficient, while others are completed because they create unforgettable stories. The Magram reputation quest chain belongs firmly in the second category. It is long, challenging, and probably not worth doing on a character who is still leveling normally. However, for a level-30 character, a twink, or anyone who simply wants a powerful and unusual reward, the journey can be remarkably rewarding.

The adventure begins with a reputation requirement. Players must build a friendly reputation with the Magram while completing a series of tasks involving centaurs, necromancers, undead creatures, and dangerous enemies WOW Forever Gold. The first part requires hunting centaurs and collecting their ears, earning approximately 20 reputation per kill. A party is especially useful because the quest is designed around repeated combat and careful coordination.

World PvP and Tactical Teamwork

The early part of the journey unexpectedly turned into intense world PvP at Bullgon’s Hole in Southern Desolace. A smaller group found itself fighting two groups of enemy players. Instead of rushing forward, the team used line-of-sight tactics, held a bridge, and eliminated opponents one at a time.

The battle required patience. Healers were prioritized, while paladins were left until later because of their defensive abilities. The group also used kiting, positioning, and controlled pushes to avoid being overwhelmed. Despite being outnumbered, the team eventually defeated the opposing players and cheap WOW Forever Gold. The encounter became one of the most memorable moments of the entire beta experience.

This fight demonstrated that good coordination can sometimes overcome a numerical disadvantage. The group’s success came from moving slowly, maintaining favorable positioning, and focusing targets rather than charging blindly into danger.

A Thirteen-Part Quest Chain

After reaching friendly reputation, the quest chain continued through several demanding objectives. Players had to return for additional reputation, defeat outcast necromancers in the Valley of Bones, and collect three petrified bark items and three imbued tears. By the halfway point, the group had completed seven of thirteen quests and had already spent around three hours.

The chain later introduced a new area, Shendrilas, which featured a striking atmosphere of blue fog, unusual creatures, bear bats, and beautiful scenery. One quest required players to use an enhanced necromancy staff to raise undead creatures and then defeat ten of them. Compared with the other tasks, this section was relatively quick.

The Most Difficult Encounter

The hardest portion involved Bristleback enemies, thorn weavers, skull crushers, and a powerful corpse feeder. The corpse feeder’s patrol made the area especially dangerous because it repeatedly interrupted progress. The group had to reset the enemy, find safer routes, and carefully control its position.

At one point, the mage could barely damage the high-level creature because of repeated misses. Instead, the mage discovered another way to contribute: bandaging the hunters. This allowed the hunters to remain active while the mage supported the group through healing and survival.

Eventually, the corpse feeder was defeated. The players then used clever positioning and aggro management to kill the remaining thorn weavers. One member kept the corpse feeder occupied by running it in circles while the rest of the group secured the required kills.

The Reward

After approximately six hours, the difficult portion was finally complete. The reward was the Great Staff of the Necrocons, offering 48 damage and 16 stamina. The final quest required a necromancy ritual to resurrect Khen, and no major battle was necessary—players simply had to raise him.

The staff even appeared upside down because of a transmog sheath option, creating an unusual visual effect. Although the reward may not be practical for every character, the quest chain offers something more valuable than efficiency: a memorable adventure filled with teamwork, strategy, world PvP, and exploration.
