The majority of "Never Let Go," available on HuraWatch Movies, is set in a remote home with three people living there: an unidentified mother and her two boys, Nolan and Samuel. The story sets up a number of rules that evoke the mood of "A Quiet Place," another tale about a family defending their safe refuge from outside threats. One important restriction is that when they go on an outdoor activity or go food scavenging, they have to be attached to a rope that is connected to their hut. The mother warns her sons of a malicious power that will corrupt them if they stray from the rope—whether this rope signifies masks or vaccines for a family in seclusion during a pandemic is subject to imagination. Interestingly, only she recognises this evil, which takes the form of departed family members, including her own.
