If your LaView camera blinking blue light, it's likely in pairing mode and attempting to connect to your WiFi network.

  • If the blue light blinks often without connecting, the camera could be struggling to complete the setup or make a solid connection.
  • Before trying to resolve this, make sure your WiFi network is up and running and that the camera is within range of the router.
  • Moving the camera closer to the router during setup is advised since poor WiFi signals may cause issues with connections.
  • If required, use a WiFi extender to boost the signal in the area where the camera is installed.
  • To restart the camera, unplug it, wait 10 seconds, and then plug it back in. 
  • By disconnecting your router for 30 seconds and then reconnecting it, you may apply the same idea to your router.
  • This can be used to refresh the connection and resolve any temporary network problems.
  • If the blue light continues to flash, press and hold the reset Laview camera button for 10 to 15 seconds to restore the camera to its original settings.
  • The camera will return to pairing mode after a reboot, allowing you to repeat the setup process using the LaView app.
