Week 1 college football lines and picks

Welcome back, everyone. Hope you all had a nice offseason, but it's time to get down on some college football action again. As usual, I'm using the figures over at DraftKings Sportsbook. With a full slate of games, there's no shortage of options to choose from, so let's get started. Miami at FLORIDA +2.5As I stated in my prediction, I'd have more faith if Miami had time to play together before now. So many new faces. Instead, I'm going with the Gators in the Swamp with the points here. CLEMSON +13.5 vs. GeorgiaThat's a lot of points for Georgia to have to lay against a roster as good as Clemson's. Dogs win, Clemson just covers. https://www.hurricanesgameday.com  Ark-Pine Bluff at Arkansas; OVER 56.5 I usually expect to see over/under numbers at least somewhat higher than the point spread, so that's a little surprising here. If the Hogs really can hit 50, it won't take hardly anything from UAPB to push this over the number. I'm in here. VIRGINIA TECH -13.5 at VanderbiltIf Virginia Tech is better this year (like I'm told they are), this should be a big win. I'll take the leap of faith here. Western Kentucky at ALABAMA -31.5The Tide get the Kalen DeBoer era off to a good start with a blowout win. I'm surprised this line isn't a little bit higher. LSU -4 vs. USCTigers cash in against the Trojans in Sin City. Not sure what to make of the Tigers' quarterback room, but USC's Miller Moss seems pretty pedestrian to me. I'll bank on LSU's superior roster. Boston College vs. FSU; UNDER 50I don't know much about BC, but I know that what I saw from FSU's offense for much of the game Saturday was ugly. I'm also guessing FSU's defense can do enough to keep a team of the caliber of BC in check.
