How to Get a Provincial Nomination in British Columbia?

Applicants are eligible for a provincial nomination from the British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BC PNP) if they meet the requirements of one of its two main streams. These are:

Skills Immigration (SI)
Express Entry BC (EEBC)
Registration must be done by applicants online, within the BC PNP Online Portal. Under the Skills Immigration (SI) categories, registration is necessary, through the Skills Immigration Registration System (SIRS).

They will get points for such aspects as work experience, education, and language proficiency as well as having a job offer from an employer in British Columbia. They will then be ranked and selected on regular draws for invitation to apply for a provincial nomination.

A provincial nomination adds 600 Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) points to the applicant's Express Entry profile, putting them at a much better opportunity to get an Invitation to Apply (ITA) from Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) for permanent residency.

BC PNP semi-skilled job

The British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program allows applicants with semi-skilled employment opportunities to permanently reside within the province. It includes hospitality, manufacturing, transport, and more. Candidates from Targeted Draws who are experienced in semi-skilled work in key sectors may be invited by the BC PNP to apply for immigration.

This allows provincial economy contributors to enjoy the privilege of inhabiting one of Canada’s most desired provinces. BC PNP’s focused approach helps in dealing with specific labor shortages in semi-skilled occupations, hence being an ideal pathway for qualified workers seeking to settle in British Columbia.
