The invitation to this final week of invites scheduled in the week of October 21, 2024, will end on October 21 at 9:00 a.m. EST. All candidates are invited to submit their profiles by that date.
If you miss this deadline, you will have to wait until the 2025 IEC season, which is expected to launch in early January, with profile submissions likely opening in late December 2024.

What If I Don’t Get an IEC Invitation This Year?
No worry for them who cannot participate this year; just a new chance in 2025. The IEC 2025 season is expected to start early January, and the profile submissions are most probably to open at the end of December 2024. But there is no need to wait when the right opportunity is right here and now.
Will There Be Changes For the 2024 IEC Season?
The Canadian government plans to introduce immigration levels for temporary residents in 2025. The IEC participants are temporary residents of Canada and will be part of the planning process with regard to the immigration levels, but this does not necessarily mean that the number of IEC work permits to be available in 2025 will be reduced.
Levels of IEC participants are determined annually through diplomatic discussions. So, we have to just wait and see how these discussions go and get more information from IRCC. Speculating whether next year IEC permits will be limited is helpful at all.
