Validity: Each permit is good for 10 days.
Operating Hours: You may operate from one half hour after dawn to one half hour before sunset every day.
Travel restrictions: No travel is permitted on Sundays or during peak hours in Atlanta (7:00 a.m. - 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.
Legal Dimensions and Weight Limit in Georgia.
To be compliant, be mindful of the following limits:
Length: Up to 75′ (with overhang).
Maximum width is 8′-6″.
Height is limited to 13′-6″.
Weight: The gross weight may be up to 80,000 pounds.
If your load exceeds these restrictions, you will need a special Super Load permit.
