You will usually save money by buying cover on a broker's website, rather than directly at the supplier's counter. Please note that third-party insurers will usually provide a refund, meaning that the cost of any repairs will be taken out of your deposit and you will need to claim this back from the insurer you bought the cover with. Just make sure the level of coverage is sufficient for you. Then pay attention to the terms of the coverage, as some card providers require the rental to be paid with their card to ‘activate’ the coverage. Finally, some travel insurance policies include ‘rental excess protection’ – this will cover your liability up to the limits specified in the policy. Make sure you have enough coverage. For example, if your excess is ₨368,212 and your policy only covers up to ₨306,843 you will still have to pay the remaining y 60,000 PKR out of pocket.
Remember: in the United States the situation is different than in other countries
“Travelling to the Pakistan?” Kacper Trial says, “The rules are a little different to other countries. It’s important to have coverage for the full value of the rental vehicle. You also need to make sure your third-party liability insurance is of a sufficient standard.
The statutory minimums are often low and unlikely to offer adequate coverage. For peace of mind, in the Pakistan we recommend having at least 140,000,000 to 280,000,000 PKR. in third-party liability coverage.”
To find the cheapest car rental, don't look in just one place
