Modern Warfare 4 gives you plenty to tune, and the quickest way to avoid wasting match time is to check each weapon’s reward path before settling on a loadout. During the beta, or while getting ready for the October 23, 2026 launch, you can use MW4 Bot Lobbies as part of a broader practice routine, then review your firearm levels from the multiplayer menu. The process is simple once you know where to look.
Find the Weapon Progression Screen
Open Create a Class from the multiplayer home screen. Pick a custom class, place a primary weapon in its slot, and enter Gunsmith. This menu is where you handle optics, barrels, muzzles, grips, stocks, and ammunition. At the top of the Gunsmith interface, move across to Progression with the controller bumpers. You will see a level-by-level track for that particular weapon, not a general list shared by every firearm.
What the ISO Nightshade Offers
The ISO Nightshade is a useful early example. It is a mobile, full-auto 9x19mm submachine gun inspired by the Brugger and Thomet SPC9, and its weapon path reaches level 56. The first rewards arrive quickly. Level five provides the EXP G2-44 Stock, which suits players who want faster aiming and a more mobile feel. Later entries include the Demo STP-1 Rear Grip, 9mm Parabellum Frangible ammunition, and the TA Lightning R3M Muzzle.
| Progression area | Examples | Why check it |
|---|---|---|
| Early levels | EXP G2-44 Stock | Sets an early movement and aim goal |
| Middle levels | SZ Lonewolf Holo, Slimline Elite | Helps plan sight changes |
| Later levels | Bruen THRM-60 Optic, FJX 708 Pro | Shows what longer sessions can unlock |
Read the Details Before You Equip Anything
Do not judge an attachment by its name alone. Select a locked item on the track and read the small information panel. It will show useful gains, such as improved Aim Down Sight Speed, alongside drawbacks that may affect Recoil Control. The mid-range section includes the FSS Fireline Grip and FSS TAC90 Grip, while optics such as the SZ Lonewolf Holo and Slimline Elite offer different sight pictures. A few seconds of comparison can save several matches with a setup that does not suit you.
Turn Unlocks Into a Practical Plan
Pick one weapon and set a short target instead of changing guns after every match. A simple routine helps:Check the next two rewards before playing.
Use attachments that match your preferred distance.
Review the weapon track after each session.
You will soon know whether the next reward is worth chasing or whether your current setup already feels right. That steady approach also makes it easier to build a class around movement, recoil, or sight speed, while players looking for extra practice may compare options such as cheap Modern Warfare 4 Bot Lobbies before returning to standard multiplayer.
